IPN Cultura (Italian Professionals Netherlands) presents a new Frames of Italy evening featuring a special preview of:
“La vita va così” (Life Is Life), directed by Riccardo Milani
which will take place a will take place on June 18 at 7:00 PM at Pathé Buitenhof cinema in The Hague.
Inspired by an incredible true story, this brilliant comedy takes us to the wild coast of southern Sardinia. The film follows the fierce resistance of an 84-year-old shepherd determined to defend his grazing land and heritage from a group of ambitious real estate developers looking to build a multi-million-euro luxury resort.
Beyond the laughter, the story touches on a universal theme: the delicate balance between modern economic development and the vital need to preserve our roots, dignity, and environment. Acclaimed director Riccardo Milani leverages the best traditions of Italian comedy to deliver an entertaining and deeply human story about a lonely hero standing up against big money.
Featuring an extraordinary cast that showcases the incredible performance of non-professional actor Giuseppe Ignazio Loi alongside beloved stars of Italian cinema like Virginia Raffaele, Diego Abatantuono, and Aldo Baglio.
